Pavements improved
As ward councillors we have successfully campaigned for the pavements to be improved outside the busy shops in Eastcote Lane, which is also a key walking route to the school.
Not just the pavements; grass verges were reintroduced to reduce the flooding, wooden posts installed to stop traffic illegally driving on to the pavement, flower baskets installed, which are being maintained by the local businesses.

This followed on from the successful campaigns to install the roundabout at the junctions, which makes it much safer for traffic, the extra zebra crossing, and festive lights on the lampposts. A great improvement to the local area.
