Welcome to Metroland! New Murals Bring A Splash Of Colour To Rayners Lane

~ You may have noticed some of these vibrant public art works appearing around the borough. It’s likely you even voted for one of them—this has come to life after an online consultation where local businesses and residents were asked to choose from a number of designs from artists.

Rayners Lane is home to the latest addition to Harrow’s public murals. Local councillors Krishna and Chloe are pictured here during a socially distanced observational check up of the progress of the new ‘Welcome to Metroland’ mural.

This incredible artwork by WeLikeStatic was voted on by Rayners Lane and West Harrow residents last year

As well as the new public artwork, Harrow Labour councillors have been working to make it easier for business to move outdoors. This will be crucial for Rayners Lane to open up whilst staying Covid secure (more on the other side).
