Councillor Ghazanfar Ali
I am proud to call Harrow my home. I have lived in the borough for over 40 years and have had the privilege of being your Councillor for most of the last decade. Despite Conservative mismanagement and Government cuts, I, together with my fellow Councillors have been engaged with constituents on a regular basis and try our best to resolve their complaints and issues. I want to use my experience to build on the good work we have done in Greenhill and work with you to make Greenhill a safer, cleaner community. I’m proud to call Harrow my home. There is so much to celebrate, from our vibrant culture to our fantastic schools, but I know that by working together with the local community we can make Greenhill an even better place to live. I have a track record of standing up for local residents on important issues such as inappropriate development, road safety and tackling the disgusting fly-tippers who spoil our borough. With your support I will be a strong voice for Greenhill. I have lived in Greenhill for the last 32 years and for me and my family including my 6 year daughter, Greenhill is our home. I’ve worked with the local voluntary sector and local charities, dealing with vulnerable communities and am currently in part-time employment to promote a neighbouring county council to local and international visitors. I would be immensely proud to represent the community that I’ve grown up in and make a positive difference. We need a safer, cleaner, community and I can’t wait to work with you to make that happen.
