Meet Your Candidates
Councillor David Perry
I have lived in Harrow my whole life and been a hardworking Marlborough Councillor for 16 years.
I have been pleased to work with local residents and champion issues such as fly-tipping,
community safety, social care, regeneration, supporting local businesses, highways issues,
housing, street cleaning and protecting our parks and open spaces, whilst also attracting
inward investment locally.
If re-elected on 5th May, I look forward to standing up for local residents and arguing
for the protection of vital local services and being a voice for all our residents.
Away from Council duties, I also work within the construction sector, spend time with family
and friends and regularly enjoy the Saturday morning 5k Park-Run at Harrow Recreation
Ground.
Councillor Varsha Parmar
My name is Varsha Parmar I have lived in Harrow for more then 30 years and know it
well. I work in the retail sector as part of the management team and have also worked
in my local school for many years and been a school governor in several local schools it
has given me a good insight into our school community.
I have been a local councillor for 11 years and I am the cabinet lead for Environment in
the current administration. I have held many posts gaining a good insight on how the
council works. I have continually been working with residents in Marlborough to
get the best outcomes for our ward to make it a safer, cleaner, community.
Councillor Antonio Weiss
I have lived with my family in central Harrow for the past fifteen years, and proudly
represented Marlborough since 2014.
As a local councillor, my colleagues and I have worked hard to improve safety, access,
cleanliness and the local economy in Marlborough. This has resulted in multimillion pound
investments and improvements to the high street, new affordable homes, better transport
access links, increased police presence and rapid financial support to local businesses and
residents during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Locally, I have served as a governor at Harrow College, volunteered at the Byron Hall
vaccination centre and sat on the Harrow Council cabinet. I will work to make Harrow the
best borough to live in for you and your family.
