Meet your Headstone Ward Councillors
Councillor Simon Brown
Having lived in Headstone for 35 years, I am proud to call it home, and to have been a councillor here since 2014. I have supported our investment in our great local parks, Harrow Recreation Ground and particularly Headstone Manor, because I believe that top quality open spaces are so important to our health and well-being, both physical and mental. We have an outstanding primary school at Pinner Park which my daughters attended, and now my granddaughter. A real community school, which will continue to have my full support. We are tackling fly tipping and anti-social behaviour in our ward, and this remains a priority. I will continue working with the local police to ensure that Headstone remains a safe and clean place to live.
Councillor Sasi Suresh
I have lived in Headstone for 30 years where I work for the Consulting Engineers Arup. Living in Harrow I really appreciate its diversity and our strong sense of community. As a councillor for this area for the last 15 years I have tried to play my part taking up the problems of local residents, working across Headstone with our local communities and our vibrant voluntary sector such as Headstone Neighbours, North Harrow Community Library and the recently formed North Harrow Community Partnership. I am excited to see our ward flourish with park and community investment and will continue with our plans to improve Road safety, particularly for pedestrians, at our major road junctions – The Goodwill, Nower Hill School and North Harrow.
Councillor Natasha Proctor
I have lived in Harrow all my life and have grown up next door to Headstone. I attended Hatch End High School and made lifelong friends while I was there, many of them still live with their family in Headstone. It’s an area that I love and that is a part of my community and life. I would be immensely proud to represent the community that I’ve grown up in and continue make a positive difference. We need a safer, cleaner, community and I can’t wait to work with you to make that happen.
Thanks for voting Labour!
